Here at Lantern, we recognize that each and every student comes in with their own set of unique skills and experiences. We have carefully devised two different program structures to better assist with our students’ success.
Lantern offers both full-time and part-time programs that include professionally led mentorship, followed by a portfolio project, and an option solely dedicated to mentorship with a combination of a portfolio project.
The goal of our Technical Mentorship program is to enhance the development of our students under the direct guidance of a senior industry professional, the mentor. Each student will be paired with their personal mentor, whom they will collectively craft a timeline and work schedule to ultimately complete their portfolio project and assist with the job landing process. Under the guidance of their mentor, students will receive laser-focused career guidance, industry insight, and technical training. Mentors will be available regularly to provide feedback and assistance on the mentee’s progress and project. Mentors will be there every step of the way ensuring to track progress and make recommendations along the way to efficiently help students become desirable candidates for hire. The program will allow students to obtain flexible and direct supervision from their mentors, whom will provide network exposure, relevant laser-focused course material and a final supervised portfolio project to exemplify not only to your mentor but to your future employers your level of expertise and practical hands-on experience.
